Reconcile the supporting account
Prepare the account as of the relevant date confirmed for the proceeding. Keep later invoices and payments distinguishable. Use gross invoice amounts, then record credits and receipts once. The result supports review; it does not determine claim admissibility or priority.
| Invoice / supply period | Gross CAD | Credits CAD | Paid CAD | Balance CAD |
|---|
- Ledger balance at stated date CAD
- Retained holdback within balance CAD
- Amounts disputed by debtor CAD
- Receipts after snapshot date
- Potential set-off or counterclaim information
- Interest or fees claimed and supporting basis
Fictional check: CAD 18,000 less CAD 600 credits less CAD 7,400 receipts equals CAD 10,000. A retained CAD 1,500 within that amount is not added to the total.
