Prepare the reconciled statement
Use with the companion workbook after the source registers are reconciled. This statement records the reviewed account; it is not an automatic claim for every recorded cost. Each amount must have a stable source ID and a stated basis for inclusion.
- Project contract and parties
- Cancellation event and reviewed effective date
- Statement date version and prepared by
- Valuation and tax basis
- Reviewer and authority for included items
| Account category | CAD amount | Source and inclusion basis |
|---|---|---|
| Completed work | [enter] | [enter] |
| Uninstalled materials net recovery | [enter] | [enter] |
| Remaining trade commitments | [enter] | [enter] |
| Incremental exit costs | [enter] | [enter] |
| Separate credits or adjustments | [enter] | [enter] |
Do not add purchase cost already contained in completed work. Carry mitigation into the source net amount once. Estimates and disputed exclusions belong in the attached schedule, not silently in the agreed amount.
Reconcile receipts and communicate the balance
| Reconciliation | CAD amount | Evidence |

| Included charges including reviewed tax | [enter] | [enter] |
| Client receipts including deposit | [enter] | [enter] |
| Refunds already paid | [enter] | [enter] |

Positive balance means an arithmetic amount remaining in the proposed account; negative means an arithmetic overpayment. Neither result decides legal entitlement. A deposit applied in this account must not also be deducted as a separate payment.
